COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course focuses on the importance of culture in the business environment using Hofstede's cultural dimensions theory. Business culture is different in every country and its understanding has become the key to success. This course will prepare you to have more effective cross cultural communications skills. This course seeks to demonstrate the importance of cross-cultural communications and the benefits of being mindful of cultural differences using Hofstede's cultural dimensions theory in a work place environment.
OBJECTIVES:
To introduce Hofstede's cultural dimensions theory. To understand cultural differences and their importance on business relationships. To develop an understanding of different types of communication and to explore intercultural communication. To learn both business etiquette and in a cross cultural business environment
