COURSE DURATION:  Two Weeks

COURSE OVERVIEW:   Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program within the Microsoft Office system.  Microsoft Excel is used worldwide by schools, businesses, and personal use at home.  It is used primarily to enter, edit, format, sort, perform mathematical computations, save, retrieve and print numeric data.  Perfect for office workers, professionals, and also students who want to know how and when to best apply Microsoft Excel.   

This course is designed to familiarize students with terminology, screen components and the most commonly used functions and shortcuts in Microsoft Excel.   Students learn the commands in practical, real world applications.

LEARNING LEVEL:   Beginner Excel user

COURSE PREREQUISITES:  Students should have basic computer skills, including how to turn on the computer, how to use an Internet browser, and how to select commands from a menu or toolbar.  Students should know how to save files and send attachments by email as well.

USE OF TECHNOLOGY:  MAC/PC Windows 7 or later

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:  Microsoft Excel 2013 or later
