Course Description:
This course is designed to help the learner recognize prejudice. The prejudices one sees as well as the prejudices one has. Through multiple activities each learner will be pushed to confront the prejudices within and without. By the end of the course, each learner will reflect upon the learning as well as apply the knowledge to his or her own work space.

Modules
This class is divided into 3 main modules formulated upon the over arching theme . The learners will only be able to access one main module at a time. Each module is accessed in sequential order. Pay attention to the availability dates.

Attendance and Lateness:
Participation in lectures, discussions, and other activities is an essential part of the instructional process. Learners are expected to attend ALL classes; those who are compelled to miss class meetings should inform their class facilitator of the reasons for absences. Missing more than 1 class, or being late frequently can negatively impact your workplace review
Professionalism:
Learners will be expected to conduct themselves as professionals. As such, learners will be expected to:
- Attend class punctually and regularly
- Be prepared for each class session
- Participate in all class discussions, activities and communities of practice
- Communicate with class peers as well as the class facilitator
- Review the website daily to be aware of all activities, grades and information
Grading:
Each task will be marked as completed or not completed. Once all assigned tasks have been completed, the learner will be assigned the summative. The course facilitator will determine whether or not learning has occurred based on the summative. Once complete the learner will receive a certificate of completion to be used in the workplace review.
Assessments :
This course has several formative assessments as well as one summative assessment. They are all multiple parts. It is the learner's responsibility to complete all sections to achieve the ultimate goal of the learning unit.
