Formerly Yearbook, this course combines the skills of graphic design with journalistic writing to produce a variety of publications across media platforms. Students learn how to take appropriate pictures, to choose and organize material using Adobe InDesign. The course focuses on writing and reporting skills: the ability to conduct interviews, synthesize information, and use Associated Press style. In a culminating project, students design the annual, school yearbook.

Students are not permitted to work from the work of others, published photographs, and copyrighted imagery, etc., without significant alteration. Any plagiarized piece will receive a zero.
