Course Syllabus

This  introduction course takes you into the Hebraic and Kingdom mind of Christ and will be an introduction to the Hebrew readings by first teaching on the 22 letters of the Hebrew alef bet. Students will enjoy Jewish movies in order to take a look into the culture as well as gaining a Hebraic understanding of the 10 commandments and the beginners understanding of the Hebrew root system. 

This course address Genesis 11:1 “Now the whole earth was of one language.” Students will discover the Biblical text and receive prophetic insight. This is a great for beginners to unearth biblical insight into the first writings and speech introduced in the earth.

 

COURSE START: This course begins February 18 2016 8:30 pm est

 

Prerequisites: Christian/ Confesses Yeshua as Lord.

Corequisites: None 

 

This course covers the Bible and Hebrew letters as well as some of the background scenes. This course will include the ancient text of the Hebrew language and its original intent and with scriptural evidence. We will look at selected verses of scripture through the prophets and poetry.

 Upon completion, students should be able to identify the 22 letters, explain their meaning topically, and convey the remez (deeper meaning) of selected texts. 

 This course has been approved to enhance learning as it pertains to the Bible.

Major Course Goals 

Upon successful completion of the course, the student/disciple should be able to:

 

    1. Accurately identify not just the letters, but pronounce selected words and explain how these have influenced their intimate time with Elohim.

  1. Effectively compose essays relating to what was learned.
  2. Produce research papers in line with scripture and clear exposition.

 3.  Exhibit other objectives during class discussions according to tasks given. *

  4. Have a more concrete understanding of what scripture means by having, "the mind of Christ."

This course is for anyone who desires to understand the Bible Hebraically, read it in Hebrew as well as understand the culture and history of ancient nomadic Jews.You will learn the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet  No need to be intimidated! beginners are welcome no previous experience in the language is needed.

  • Read short sentences at first
  • See the spiritual tones of the language
  • Learn the differences between the original Hebrew text vs. the "versions"
