OverviewExplore your talents and passions and what it would take for you to attain and maintain a higher level of well-being. Develop your own supporting practices and goals with clarity and determination and understand the affects your well-being has on the children in your care. Requirements and TextParticipants attend regular scheduled classes, engage fully in on-line and in person discussions and exercises, complete weekly reading and activities between sessions. TextSoil Soul Society, Satish Kumar (2013) EvaluationStudents will receive ongoing support in conjunction with their active participation and involvement. COURSE LAYOUT This course will be taught with an active learning and cooperative education philosophy using group discussions where possible, hands on learning, reflective journal writing, nature experiences and creative activities. Reading: As assigned. Creative Activity: A creative activity will be presented each week to support participants creativity. Nature Experience: A weekly nature experience will be assigned and discussed, or reflected upon. Creative Journal: Participants will develop a personal creative journal in which to write and explore their creativity in life. As this course is focused on personal depth and connection, daily creative journaling is an essential aspect. Discussions: Participation in weekly discussions, either on-line or video conferencing is a vital component. Written Assignments: Written assignments should be typed, proof read and clearly reflect your thoughts, feelings and ideas. |
