Course Syllabus
Communication Objectives:
Unit 01:
Socialize when meeting someone for the first time, drop formality in names and make small talk about culturally neutral topics. Narrate a logical sequence of past events.
Unit 02:
Role play a doctor-patient conversation. Patient lists all symptoms and speculates about what the problem may be (giving low-certainty). Doctor speculates likewise but giving high-certainty, recommends some remedies and therapies.
Reading Comprehension Quizzes:
They are located in the QUIZZES section. They are on-line activities. You can take the quizzes as many times as you want and there is no time limit. The quizzes will keep your highest score, so you can track your progress. However, the answers will not be shown. Read well and practice a lot.
Patches:
Patches are located in the QUIZZES section. They are on-line activities, similar to the reader quizzes. You can only take 3 patches and the score must be higher than 80% in order to be awarded 1 point. Patches can only be taken once.
