INSTRUCTIONAL GOALS
This course provides an overview of the basic functions of personal computers and instructs students in how to use them. It is designed for persons who have little or no experience with computers. Its purpose is to make students comfortable with personal computers and to provide the basic knowledge and skills needed to perform the major computer functions without assistance. These
skills will be applied to the basics of navigating and exploring the desktop, world wide web, and different ways to communicate using the computer.
