  3. Introductions - If unfamiliar with Canvas, I want a volunteer who has used it to partner with you, please!
  4. Overview of this Canvas class - what are the parts. Make it clear that this is not the RIGHT way to do it. You truly have a blank canvas that can be designed as you wish it to be.

  5. Draw a Google button
  6. Create a Google doc of directions for an assignment. It's one you want students to be able to edit as an assignment. Could be a list of questions, directions to write about a topic, etc.
  7. Create another Google doc with "rules" to embed later.
  8. Create a page
    1. Add links to a PDF, a website, another page, a module or list of modules.
    2. Add the picture (learn to upload graphics) and link it to whatever you wish.
  9. Embed Class Rules Google Doc on page in Canvas.
  10. Make a home page and put the Rules button on it. Make the home page "Rules" picture link to the page with embedded rules.
  11. Create an assignment - with a text box.
    1. Class members - complete the assignment and I can show Speedgrader.
  12. Create an assignment - with a Google Doc URL submission - uses teh Google Doc created in #4
