Purpose: The online course is created for collaboration to be done between myself as a teacher, and you as a care-taker. I believe that your child should be given the best education for their development. This course work will specifically work on reading and your child's sight words. Sight words are words that they are most familiar with, and are working towards expressing in their own way. I want this online information to be used as a way to communicate more freely with each other. 

Standards: 

0.2.4.4 Interpret words and phrases as they are used in a text, including determining technical, connotative, and figurative meanings, and analyze how specific word choices shape meaning or tone.

0.2.5.5 Identify the front cover, back cover, and title page of a book.
