Please select a course or create a course to practice using the Canvas features you will learn about in this course. The course you select should be for an actual class you will implement Canvas activities with students. Consider if you need/want to combine separate sections into one class. See this video if you need to Cross-List courses.
You will need to set up a few things in your Canvas account and course to make things work smoothly. Use the checklist below to make sure you do not miss anything.
1. Access your Canvas account.
2. Add a profile picture in your account.
3. Register Google Drive to your account.
4. Choose or Add a Canvas course to make Canvas Assignments.
5. In your selected course change the Time Zone in Settings and add the Feature Option in Settings called Learning Mastery Grade Book.
6. Answer the questions in this survey.
