Module 9 is continuing to learn about conditional behaviors at decision points in computer programs (e.g. “I will do this, but only if a particular condition holds”) by using If-else statements (green blocks or tiles).

In this case, you will learn to tell the computer to execute or run some code based on a combination of checks of state in the world -- compound Boolean expressions; compound expressions are made up of more than one part.

We will learn two different ways that we can handle complex conditions under which we want to execute code -- using compound Boolean expressions and by "nesting" if/else statements (or putting one inside the other).

We can create programs where execution is controlled (using if/else statements) by complex sets of conditions.
One way we can express these complex conditions is by combining with the Boolean operator andand the Boolean operator or.
Another way we can express complex conditions is by using multiple if/else statements -- sometimes one after another and sometimes with one "nested" inside part of another.
