For this week, we will continue to complete Module 7: Calculating Realism (mathematical expressions and functions). We have created several Alice world programs that have taught you how to use mathematical expressions and functions to make your programs more realistic.

We will then start the unit on the Internet and Binary numbers and learn about those Computer Science Concepts.

By the end of this week, you will be able to:

make computer programs more realistic by using mathematical expressions and functions. We will learn to make our Alice World programs more realistic by using these programming concepts: Module 7: Calculating Realism (mathematical expressions and functions).
Explain binary numbers, binary number system, and how zero's and one's are used as on/off switches so that a computer can convert binary numbers to represent digital information that humans can understand, such as numbers, letters, symbols, images and any other piece of digital information that appears on the computer.
Explain the abstractions in the Internet and how the Internet functions.
Identify existing cybersecurity concerns and potential options that address these issues with the Internet and the systems built on it.
Analyze the beneficial and harmful effects of computing.

We will be learning a lot of new things this week. Keep track of the assignments and the time you need to complete them!
